About
The Village Society...
Farnborough
Village is a special place and the Farnborough Village Society
(FVS) is here to encourage a strong local community. We're non-political and
everyone who lives in the village is automatically a member without
subscription. Our committee, officers and supporters are all unpaid
volunteers and join in for fun and personal satisfaction - not money.
The
Society's income is largely from fundraising and donations.
Funds raised pay for our fantastic Christmas Lights and also enables us to
make yearly donations to worthwhile charities. The Village Society over the
last year has supported the War Memorial Appeal, Last Chance,
Farnborough Primary School,
Kent Air
Ambulance, Crisis and Demelza House.
