About The Village Society...

Farnborough Village is a special place and the Farnborough Village Society
(FVS) is here to encourage a strong local community. We're non-political and everyone who lives in the village is automatically a member without subscription. Our committee, officers and supporters are all unpaid volunteers and join in for fun and personal satisfaction - not money.

The Society's income is largely from fundraising and donations.
Funds raised pay for our fantastic Christmas Lights and also enables us to
make yearly donations to worthwhile charities. The Village Society over the
last year has supported the War Memorial Appeal, Last Chance,
Farnborough Primary School, Kent Air Ambulance, Crisis and Demelza House.

What We Do...

Organise and attract locals to participate in enjoyable village events.

Fundraising and voluntary work to help local charities and good causes.

Make great friends and have a lot of fun.

Organise, pay for, install and maintain the Farnborough Christmas lights.

What You Can Do

Come to FVS meetings - usually at 8.00pm on the first Tuesday of the Month
(see Village Notice Board, Newsletter or Village Diary
for dates and venues).
